Event/Wedding Dessert Deposit: A 35% of the total invoice “Save-the-Date” deposit is required for us to place your order and reserve your event date / time. The Save-the-Date deposit is subject to the refund policy described below. 

Refunds/ Cancellations: If your event is canceled your payment is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to the scheduled event date and will be issued within 14 days of event cancellation notice. If your event is cancelled between 59 – 30 days prior to the scheduled event date a 50% refund will be issued within 14 days of event cancellation notice. There are no refunds applicable for event cancellations within 29 days of the scheduled event date.

Final Payments: Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your scheduled event date.

Delivery Time: The delivery time on your dessert order form is an approximate time for your delivery. Actual delivery time may vary depending on the delivery schedule for the day.

Unavoidable Delivery Occurrence: In the case of an unavoidable delivery occurrence, such as a car accident, poor road conditions, inclement weather, etc… Berries n Cream Bakery is only responsible for refunding the price of the damaged items placed in your order.

Pick-up waiver: It is our recommendation to always have your order delivered. Therefore, if you chose to have your desserts picked up, Berries n Cream Bakery is NOT responsible for damage to any item once it has left our shop. Since our items are made with ingredients that will MELT IN HEAT and cakes should never be left in direct sunlight or in a hot vehicle. Cakes should be transported in a cool and flat area with plenty of space (the floorboard of a car or trunk is not suggested). Any repairs or additional cakes will be subject to additional fees.

Cake Stands Rentals: There is an additional security deposit and fee for Cake Stand / Equipment Rentals, and you must have valid payment information saved in our system. The deposit varies and will be based upon the value of the items being rented. The deposit is required on or before your final payment and all equipment must be returned within 24 hours of the wedding/event and in the same condition it was delivered. In the event you neglect to return our equipment within 24 hours of the event you will be charged for the replacement of the item plus an additional 25% inconvenience fee of your total bill including additional fees.

You will be sent a notice 48 hours after your event if equipment is not yet returned and will be charged on the day.

Wedding Cake Orders: All wedding cake orders require 30 days notice. Any wedding dessert orders placed after the 30 day deadline may be subject to additional charges, may not be accommodated, and the final design, flavor, and size may be at the baker's discretion.

Cake Variations: All items are custom made and no two will ever be exactly the same. Berries n Cream Bakery reserves the right to make any changes to the final cake. The order form is a guideline for colors, design, flavors, and decorations but DOES NOT guarantee the final product.

Design Confirmation: In any event that there is an error on the dessert order form it is YOUR responsibility to make us aware of the needed changes. Order changes can be made up to 14 days from the event date (additional charges may apply).

Outdoor Events: Due to the effects of outdoor weather conditions, table on un-level ground, wind blowing undesirable atmospheric items (ie: dirt, leaves, branches, sunlight.), insects and other wildlife, products such as icings, fillings, cake decorations, etc, may not hold up and cannot be insured past delivery and set-up.

Food Colorings: Food colorings will not match your event colors perfectly. Berries n Cream Bakery will make an effort to recreate the colors you are looking for but there will be slight color variations.

Heat: Cakes are made with ingredients that will melt when it's hot (direct sunlight, inside a car, etc…). If you have chosen to have your cake displayed in direct sunlight, Berries n Cream Bakery is not responsible for damage to cakes beyond delivery. If you have chosen to pick up your cake, Berries n Cream Bakery is not responsible for cakes melting in your car.

Allergies: Berries n Cream Bakery specializes in allergy and dietary desserts and takes extra care to clean equipment and surfaces, however at this time we do not have certified areas. Ingredients or machinery may have come in contact with nuts, milk and wheat products unless otherwise stated on your order form.

Flowers: In the case of fresh flower usage on the cake, the responsibility of the flower safety and safe food practices will rest with the florist and not with Berries n Cream Bakery.
